Every single day we use our beliefs and conditioned reality to move in this world in a safe and sincere way.
Our world is interlaced with all manner of interacting beliefs that can be most distortive and most accurate.
Often our inner and outer beliefs are cloaked upon our individualized personal structure, personality, ego, individuality.
We have beliefs about science and the physics of reality that are basically working models or theories that allow us to construct models of function that render consistent results. An automobile, an airplane, a bicycle… these physical models harness what we know and have come to believe are consistent theories or beliefs about physics.
Regardless though of whether we work within a flat earth belief theory or round earth belief theory, the bicycle still functions the same.
As the science goes deeper, the models more complex, the science needs to achieve deeper accuracy and result.
Science is one thing, but psychological reality is quite another. What we believe about ourselves, what we believe about each other, what we believe about our individual spiritual reality has a much more subjective tone to it.
One man will believe in the inherent goodness of mankind, and somehow he will experience that and almost become a vessel for such goodness and autocracy of spirit.
Another man may believe in the inherent unconscious nature of humanity, and somehow he will effortlessly observe this and experience this to be true.
Even two people can experience two entirely different facets of the same person or situation.
The subjectivity of man’s observations and experiences of life are absolutely infinite in nature.
And then man comes to religion, to collective belief systems. And that subjectivity gets expanded into a collective structure of understanding the world.
This prism of understanding goes on filtering reality back to itself.
The observer, the human, the mind goes on projecting its filter upon life.
The religious mind goes on filtering in what it sees through a certain understanding or religious conceptual reality.
In one society the religious mind sees a great Krishna Avatar that is completely blue, teaching the masses what it means to be true, virtuous and conscious.
In another society man filters through reality by understanding the words of the great Avatar Mohamed or Buddha or Jesus….
These collective dreams, the collective filters upon reality… they keep the mind happy, they keep the individual satiated upon a few images of representation.
The point of life is not to be loyal to what you believe, to the filter, to the conditioned individual or collective filter, for a filter comes and identifies you as a certain creed, nationality, believer or non believer, follower of some other great thinker, follower of some great ideology…
When you are born none of that matters, and when you die none of that will matter…
And in this very moment, in this very moment, if you have sufficient awareness, sufficient presence, you can see right through, right beyond all these veils of conscious and unconscious structure and belief.
You can observe how our minds have labeled and sought out to structure all of our natural environment.
Nothing wrong with it, as a functional model. But with sufficient awareness, you can see beyond it. With sufficient presence you can observe and access the raw natural reality of life.
And so this is my challenge to you. This is my challenge to everyone. Challenge yourself to see life simply as it is. To see life in its base, raw form.
Put religion aside, put politics aside, put gender aside, put activism aside, put greed aide, put humility aside, put god aside, put all the conditioned attributes of the functional mind aside, and just for a moment, Observe.
Just for a moment observe life with naked eyes. Observe the direct reality that your are faced with.
Put aside that eternal labeling device we call the mind, that absolutely conditions our experience. Put it all aside and simply observe this life, this living, this aliveness as she truly is.
One moment, this very moment, simply observe, simply see, simply hear, simply feel…..
And for the first time you may notice, you may purely observe what reality, what base reality is.
And so, simply resting in this presence of reality, this presence of the unknown, you have achieved and revealed life’s treasure, life’s true meaning, pure meaning, pure consciousness….
This is your prayer, this is peace, this is home.
Namaste
